A hot cab costs more than a bad night's sleep
Drivers spend their breaks and nights in the cab. When it's 35 °C outside, the only way to cool it is often to leave a 13-litre engine running.
Idling burns diesel
An idling truck typically burns 2–3 litres an hour, adds engine hours and wear, and is restricted in a growing number of EU countries.
Tired drivers
Poor rest in a hot cab means tired drivers on the road, and good drivers are hard to find and keep.
Premium prices
Big-brand parking coolers are excellent, but for many fleets and workshops the price makes it hard to equip every truck.
Why parking coolers pay for themselves
Diesel is expensive, trucks are old, and summers are getting hotter. Every hour a truck idles for air conditioning is money burned.
